Parent Participation
Parent participation and involvement in the activities of our students is seen as a significant element of our curriculum. Parent participation teaches our children the emphasis the family places on education and shows parent support of the school's programs.
In order to provide the best possible education for the children, the home and school need to work together toward the same goals. We feel these goals can best be met when parents:
- Are regular in their church and Sunday school attendance
- Are regular in their communion attendance
- Support their church and school financially
- Pray for the church and its educational ministries
- Are involved in parent organizations such as CARE
- Support school-sponsored activities and programs
- Encourage their children to be conscientious in everything they do, especially in their academic endeavors and adherence to school policies
- Communicate regularly with the teacher
- Stay current by reading newsletters and any information sent home with your child
We also urge all parents who are not currently members at Peace With Christ Lutheran Church to attend a Newcomer's Class. The pupose of this class is to share the practices and teachings of the Lutheran Church. Call the office for the next available class.
