We encourage all parents to become involved in their child’s education. At PWCCS parents have already committed to providing their children with a better education. When parents become involved in their children’s education the children are more likely to:
· Earn better grades
· Have higher test scores
· Attend school regularly
· Have better social skills
· Show improved behavior
· Have a positive attitude toward school
· Complete homework assignments
· Graduate and continue their education
As parents, we can serve many different roles in the educational process. We serve as advocates for our children, volunteers, fundraisers, and help at home. Parent involvement in education has a positive effect at all grade levels. The more parents participating the better for student achievement.
